Iran’s short film ‘Gift’ to vie at Walthamstow festival

Iran’s short ‘Gift' (Pishkesh) has been selected to compete at this year’s edition of the Walthamstow International Film Festival in the UK.

‘Gift’ directed by Bakhtiar Khalili will attend the 10th edition of the Walthamstow International Film Festival, Iranian Youth Cinema society reported.

The short film will compete along with three other films in the festival's section of drama.

The Walthamstow International Film Festival is a platform for short filmmakers.

It honors films in several categories of drama, documentary, experimental, animation and young persons' film.

The gala’s 10th edition will take place in London on June 15-16, 2019.
